LETTER IN ENGLISH, SPANISH and POLISH
Dear parishioners and friends of the St. Anthony of Padua Parish:
A cordial and warm greeting. I am incredibly pleased to communicate through this letter and of the Parish bulletins that you receive weekly.
As you know very well because of the coronavirus, many activities were suspended in our Diocese and in our parish. But, thank God, and from Saturday, May 30th, we will reopen the doors of our Church to celebrate Holy Mass. To facilitate required cleaning, we will celebrate Masses in the Parish Center on the First Floor. For disabled persons, we have prepared a ramp to facilitate access to the building and ensure their participation in the Holy Eucharist.
In the month of June, we celebrate the feast of our patron Saint Anthony of Padua (June 13). Last year, we celebrated the Parish Festival for a whole day. This year it will be impossible to celebrate, so we have scheduled a Parish Raffle. We already had tickets printed for this raffle well in advance. Therefore, to avoid incurring in additional expenses, we decided to use these same tickets but please consider the following:
the new raffle date is Sunday, July 26,
the cost per ticket is only $ 25.00 (because we will NOT be selling food).
The prizes remain the same:
1 prize of $ 1,000.00
2 prizes of $ 500.00
5 prizes of $ 100.00
10 prizes of $ 50.00
and
1 prize of a 50-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV HDR TV
We are sending three (3) tickets to each family. You are not required to purchase all of them; however, we look forward to your generous collaboration. If you cannot buy three, buy at least one. You can also offer tickets to your family, neighbors, friends, and coworkers. The parish needs your help and collaboration. I alone cannot do anything, but with you we can maintain and improve our parish.
I am sure many of you wonder: why do we need all this money? My dear friends, our Church, the Rectory, and the Parish Center are in constant need of maintenance and many repairs. The primary reason is to keep these buildings in good shape for our use and to meet all the City of Chicopee requirements. These days we are making a ramp for all our parishioners and friends with walking impediments so that they can also participate in all the activities that we carry out in the Parish Center. We need to fix the restrooms at the Parish Center which have not been changed since the founding of this parish. We are considering cleaning the Church roof this summer and replacing it with a new one if necessary. In these months, everything has stopped, but we continue to pay bills and invoices. I sincerely ask for your help and, buying these tickets, is one of the ways you can do it. Some may purchase one (1) ticket, others may purchase three (3) tickets, and there may be some who may purchase ten (10) tickets or more. The future of our Parish is in your hands. It is important that you return the stub of your ticket as soon as possible, making sure to write down your name, address, telephone number and include your collaboration. In this way, and if you win on Sunday, July 26, we can notify you immediately.
Thanks to your generosity our Parish can stay alive and well maintained. Thanks to you we can continue moving forward. And I say this with all my heart, I miss you! I miss those who complain about every little thing regardless of how small it may be; I miss those who serve our community from their hearts; I especially miss those who always greet me with love and pray for me; I have all of you in my heart and in my prayers. In this time of the coronavirus, please continue to take good care of yourselves because I want to see you again and very soon.
The exterior of our church is important, but much more the interior. So we continue to be united in prayer for one another. We are all brothers and sisters. There are no perfect people. You must share the love of Jesus with others. Because, if He loves us, are you capable of loving your neighbor?

Queridos feligreses y amigos de la Parroquia de San Antonio de Padua:
Un saludo cordial y entrañable. Me es muy grato comunicarme a través de esta carta y de los boletines que ustedes reciben semanalmente.
Como ustedes saben muy bien por los motivos de coronavirus, fueron suspendidas muchas actividades en nuestra Diócesis y también en nuestra Parroquia. Pero, gracias a Dios, y desde el sábado, 30 de mayo, abriremos nuevamente las puertas de nuestra iglesia para celebrar la Santa Misa. Para facilitar la limpieza requerida, celebraremos las Misas en el Centro Parroquial en el Primer Piso. Para las personas discapacitadas, hemos preparado una rampa para facilitar acceso al edificio y asegurar su participación de la Santa Eucaristía.
En el mes de junio, celebramos la fiesta de nuestro patrono San Antonio de Padua (13 de junio). El año pasado celebramos el Festival Parroquial durante todo un día. Este año será imposible celebrarlo, por eso hemos programado una Rifa de la Parroquia (“Parish Raffle”). Ya teníamos impresos con mucha anticipación boletos (“tickets”) para esta rifa. Entonces, para no incurrir en gastos adicionales, decidimos utilizar estos mismos boletos solamente que por favor tengan en cuenta lo siguiente:
la nueva fecha de la rifa es el domingo, 26 de Julio,
el precio por boleto es de solamente $25.00 (porque NO tendremos la venta de comida).
Los Premios siguen siendo los mismos:
1 premio de $1,000.00
2 premios de $500.00
5 premios de $100.00
10 premios de $50.00
y
1 premio de un Televisor de 50-pulgadas 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV HDR
A cada familia le estamos enviando tres (3) boletos. Ustedes no están obligados a comprarlos, sin embargo, esperamos su generosa colaboración. Si no pueden comprar tres, compren por lo menos uno. También pueden ofrecer boletos a sus familiares, vecinos, amigos y compañeros de trabajo. La parroquia necesita de su ayuda y su colaboración. Yo sólo no puedo hacer nada, pero con ustedes podemos mantener y mejorar nuestra parroquia.
Estoy seguro de que muchos de ustedes se preguntan: ¿para que necesitan este dinero? Mis queridos amigos, nuestra Iglesia, la Rectoría y el Centro Parroquial necesitan mantenimiento constantemente y muchos arreglos. El motivo principal es mantener estos edificios en buen estado para nuestro uso y para cumplir con todos los requisitos de la ciudad de Chicopee. En estos días estamos haciendo una rampa para discapacitados para que puedan participar también de todas las actividades que realicemos en el Centro Parroquial. Necesitamos arreglar los baños del Centro Parroquial los cuales no se han cambiado desde la fundación de esta parroquia. Estamos considerando este verano limpiar el techo de la iglesia y, de ser necesario, reemplazarlo por uno nuevo. En estos meses, todo se ha detenido, pero seguimos pagando cuentas y facturas. De todo corazón les pido su ayuda y comprando estos boletos es una de las formas en que lo pueden hacer. Algunos pueden comprar un (1) boleto, otros pueden comprar tres (3) boletos y puede ser que haya algunos que pueden comprar diez (10) boletos o más. En sus manos dejamos el futuro de nuestra parroquia. Es importante que devuelvan lo más pronto posible la porción pequeña de su boleto asegurándose de anotar su nombre, dirección, teléfono y de incluir su colaboración. De esta manera, y si son ganadores el domingo, 26 de Julio, podremos notificarles inmediatamente.
Gracias a su generosidad nuestra parroquia puede mantenerse viva y bien cuidada. Gracias a ustedes seguimos adelante. Y les digo de todo corazón que ¡los extraño! Extraño a aquellos que se quejan de cualquier cosita por más pequeña que sea; extraño los que sirven de corazón a nuestra comunidad; extraño especialmente a los que siempre me saludan con amor y oran por mí; yo los llevo a todos en mi corazón y los tengo en mis oraciones. En este tiempo del coronavirus, por favor, sigan cuidándose mucho porque quiero verlos de nuevo y muy pronto.
Lo exterior de nuestra iglesia es importante, pero mucho más lo interior. Por eso seguimos unidos en la oración unos por otros. Todos somos hermanos y hermanas. No hay personas perfectas. Hay que compartir este amor de Jesús con los demás. Porque, si él nos ama, ustedes, ¿son capaces de amar a su prójimo?
Teniendo todo esto muy en cuenta, quiero agradecer nuevamente de antemano por todo y asegurarles que cada día están en mis oraciones.

Drodzy parafianie i przyjaciele Parafii Świętego Antoniego z Padwy:
Bardzo się cieszę, że mogę komunikować się z Państwem poprzez ten list i biuletyn parafialny otrzymywanych co tydzień.
Jak dobrze wiecie z powodu koronawirusa, wiele działań zostało zawieszonych w naszej diecezji, a także w naszej parafii. Ale, dzięki Bogu, od soboty 30 maja ponownie otworzymy drzwi naszego kościoła, aby odprawiać Mszę świętą. Aby ułatwić wymagane sprzątanie, będziemy odprawiać Mszę Świętą w Centrum Parafialnym na pierwszym piętrze. Dla osób niepełnosprawnych przygotowaliśmy rampę ułatwiającą dostęp do budynku i zapewniającą ich uczestnictwo w Najświętszej Eucharystii.
W czerwcu obchodzimy święto naszego patrona, św. Antoniego z Padwy (13 czerwca). W ubiegłym roku obchodziliśmy Festiwal Parafialny przez cały dzień. W tym roku nie będzie można świętować, dlatego zaplanowaliśmy Loterię Parafialną. Już wcześniej wydrukowaliśmy bilety na tę loterię. Aby nie ponieść żadnych dodatkowych wydatków, postanowiliśmy skorzystać z tych samych biletów, które uwzględniają następujące kwestie:

CENA BILETU JEST TYLKO 25,00 USD (ponieważ NIE będziemy mieli sprzedaży żywności).

Wysyłamy trzy (3) bilety do każdej rodziny. Nie musisz ich kupować, ale czekamy na Twoją hojną współpracę. Jeśli nie możesz kupić trzech, kup przynajmniej jeden. Możesz również zaoferować te bilety dla rodziny, sąsiadów, przyjaciół i współpracowników. Parafia potrzebuje twojej pomocy i współpracy. Po prostu nic nie mogę zrobić sam, ale dzięki wam możemy utrzymać i ulepszyć naszą parafię.
Jestem pewien, że wielu z was zastanawia się: po co wam te pieniądze? Moi drodzy, nasz Kościół, Dom Parafialny i Centrum Parafialne stale potrzebują konserwacji i wielu napraw. Głównym powodem jest utrzymanie tych budynków w dobrym stanie do naszego użytku i spełnienie wszystkich wymagań City of Chicopee. Obecnie robimy wejście dla osób niepełnosprawnych, aby mogli uczestniczyć we wszystkich nabożeństwach, które prowadzimy w Centrum Parafialnym. Musimy naprawić toalety w Centrum Parafialnym, które nie zostały zmienione od czasu założenia tej parafii. Rozważamy czyszczenie dachu kościoła tego lata i, w razie potrzeby, jego wymianę na nowy. W tych miesiącach wszystko się zatrzymało, ale nadal płacimy rachunki i faktury. Szczerze proszę o pomoc, a zakup tych biletów jest jednym ze sposobów, w jaki możesz to zrobić. Dzięki waszej hojności nasza parafia może sie rozwijać i być zadbana. Dzięki Panstwu idziemy dalej. I z całego serca mówię, że tęsknię za Wami! Tęsknię za tymi, którzy narzekają na każdy drobiazg, nawet najmniejszy; tęsknię za tymi, którzy służą naszej społeczności z głębi serca; szczególnie tęsknię za tymi, którzy zawsze witają mnie z uśmiechem na tawrzy i modlą się codziennie za mnie; mam was wszystkich w moim sercu i mam was w moich modlitwach. W czasie koronawirusa, proszę, dbajcie o siebie, ponieważ chcę was wkrótce zobaczyć wszystkich.
Zewnętrzna część naszego kościoła jest bardzo ważna (to o czym mówie w tym liście), ale ważniejsze jest nasze wnętrze (nasze serce). Dlatego nadal jednoczymy się w modlitwie za siebie nawzajem. Wszyscy jesteśmy braćmi i siostrami. Nie ma idealnych ludzi. Musicie dzielić miłość Jezusa z innymi. Ponieważ jeśli on nas kocha, czy my nie jesteśmy w stanie kochać bliźniego?
Mając to na uwadze, z góry dziękuję za wszystko i zapewniam, że każdego dnia modlę się za Was.
