Dear Parishioners,
On June 13, the Catholic Church celebrates one of the best known and most venerated saints in the world: Saint Anthony of Padua, Patron of our Parish, who, according to tradition, is called upon to find lost objects. Perhaps because one day a novice fled the convent with a psaltery used by the Saint. Saint Anthony prayed to retrieve his book and the novice was faced with a terrible and threatening appearance that forced him to turn back and return the stolen.
In our Parish, the primary concern is the holiness, health, and safety of our Parishioners. I think of you every day and I ask the Lord to take good care of you. On this June 13 in which we celebrate the patronal feast of our community, we are going to pray in a special way for all those who have been affected by the current health crisis, especially the sick and the people who care for them. The spread of COVID-19 has really impacted our Parish, our community, and our country. If it is impossible for you to participate daily in the Holy Mass in our Parish Center, I invite you to watch the Holy Mass which we are transmitting live via Facebook: www.facebook.com/stanthonychicopee. In addition, I will continue to communicate with you about events and activities as often as possible so that you are aware of what is happening in our Parish.
I am concerned about your spiritual and pastoral needs. That is why we must continue to pray and support the most vulnerable: the poor, those with a less stable job and parents who need to work and cannot find childcare. In a special way, we must support the elderly, sick and confined who can feel isolated and alone. In the spirit of Saint Anthony, I ask everyone to embrace the works of mercy with zeal and to practice a spirit of gratitude and generosity towards others.
Please know that I am committed to continuing the good work of our Parish and the Church at this time. I want to thank each of you for the many ways you support our Parish and I ask that you please continue to support the works of our Church. Our Parish depends on your weekly donations to continue its ministries at this critical time. I appreciate your contributions.
Join me in prayer for the repose of those who have died, for the recovery of the sick, for the strength of health workers and caregivers, and for the end of this health crisis. Please be assured of my prayers for all of you who are part of the Great Antonian Family and know that I am here for you. I miss all of you in our Eucharistic celebrations.

Queridos Feligreses,
El 13 de junio, la Iglesia Católica celebra a uno de los santos más conocidos y venerados en el mundo: San Antonio de Padua, Patrono de nuestra parroquia, a quien, según la tradición, se le invoca para hallar objetos perdidos. Tal vez porque cierto día un novicio huyó del convento con un salterio que usaba el Santo. San Antonio oró para recuperar su libro y el novicio se vio ante una aparición terrible y amenazante que lo obligó a regresar y devolver lo robado.
En nuestra parroquia, la preocupación principal es la santidad, la salud y la seguridad de nuestros feligreses. Cada día pienso en ustedes y le pido al Señor que les cuide mucho. En este día 13 de junio en que celebramos la fiesta patronal de nuestra comunidad, vamos a orar en forma especial por todos los que se han visto afectados por la actual crisis de salud, especialmente los enfermos y las personas que los cuidan. La propagación del COVID-19 realmente ha impactado a nuestra parroquia, a nuestra comunidad y a nuestro país. Si les es imposible participar diariamente en la Santa Misa en nuestro Centro Parroquial, los invito a ver la Santa Misa que estamos transmitiendo en vivo a través de Facebook: www.facebook.com/stanthonychicopee. Además, continuaré comunicándome con ustedes sobre los eventos y actividades tan frecuente como sea posible para que estén al tanto de lo que está pasando en nuestra parroquia.
Estoy preocupado por sus necesidades espirituales y pastorales. Por eso debemos seguir orando y apoyando a los más vulnerables: los pobres, los que tienen un empleo menos estable y los padres que necesitan trabajar y no pueden encontrar cuido para los niños. De manera especial, debemos apoyar a los ancianos, enfermos y encerrados que pueden sentirse aislados y solos. En el espíritu de San Antonio, pido a todos que abracemos las obras de misericordia con celo y que practiquemos un espíritu de gratitud y generosidad hacia los demás.
Por favor, sepan que estoy comprometido en continuar la buena obra de nuestra parroquia y de la Iglesia en este momento. Quiero agradecerle a cada uno de ustedes las muchas maneras en que apoyan a nuestra parroquia y les pido por favor que continúen apoyando las obras de nuestra Iglesia. Nuestra parroquia depende de sus donaciones semanales para continuar sus ministerios en este momento crítico. Agradezco sus contribuciones.
Acompáñenme en la oración por el reposo de los que han muerto, por la recuperación de los enfermos, por la fuerza de los trabajadores sanitarios y los cuidadores, y por el fin de esta crisis de salud. Por favor, tengan la seguridad de mis oraciones por todos ustedes que forman parte de la Gran Familia Antoniana, y sepan que estoy aquí para ustedes. 13 czerwca Kościół Katolicki celebruje jednego z najbardziej znanych i najbardziej czczonych świętych na świecie: Świętego Antoniego z Padwy, Patrona naszej parafii, który zgodnie z tradycją, ma znaleźć zgubione przedmioty. Być może dlatego, że pewnego dnia nowicjusz uciekł z klasztoru z modlitewnikiem używanym przez świętego. Święty Antoni modlił się o odzyskanie swojej książki, i podczas tej modlitwy nowicjusz miał straszną wizję która zmusił go do powrotu i do zwrotu skradzionego.
W naszej parafii podstawową troską jest świętość, zdrowie i bezpieczeństwo naszych parafian. Każdego dnia myślę o Tobie i proszę Pana, aby troszczył się o Ciebie. W dniu 13 czerwca obchodzimy święto naszej parafii, w tym dniu będziemy modlić się w sposób szczególny za wszystkich, którzy zostali dotknięci wirusem, zwłaszcza za chorych i za osób, które się nimi opiekują. Rozprzestrzenienie się COVID-19 bardzo wpłynęło na naszą parafię, naszą społeczność i nasz kraj.

Martwię się o Państwa potrzeby duchowe i duszpasterskie. Dlatego musimy nadal modlić się i wspierać najbardziej bezbronnych: biednych, mniej stabilnych i rodziców, którzy muszą pracować i nie mogą znaleźć opieki nad dziećmi. W szczególny sposób musimy wspierać osoby starsze i chore, które mogą czuć się odizolowane i samotne. W duchu świętego Antoniego proszę wszystkich, aby gorliwie przyjmowali w swoim życiu dzieła miłosierdzia i praktykowali ducha wdzięczności i hojności wobec innych tak jak Pan jest doby i hojny wobec Was.
Pragnę abyście wiedzieli, że przez cały czas jestem zaangażowany w kontynuowanie dobrej pracy naszej parafii i Kościoła w tym trudnym czasie. Chcę podziękować każdemu z Was za wiele sposobów wspierania naszej parafii i proszę o dalsze wspieranie dzieł naszej wspólnoty parafialnej. Nasza parafia zależy od Twoich cotygodniowych datków na kontynuowanie posługi w tym krytycznym momencie. Doceniam Twój wkład i z całego serca skladam Bóg zapłać.
Dołączcie się do mnie w modlitwie za zmarłych, o wyzdrowienie chorych, o siłę dla pracowników służby zdrowia oraz za koniec tej epidemii. Zapewniam was o moich modlitwach za Was wszystkich, którzy jesteście częścią Wielkiej Rodziny Sw. Antoniegoi wiedzcie, że jestem tu dla Was.
